What this is — and isn't
If you want a sprite of your character — the tiefling warlock, the armored paladin — this is the wrong tool, and plenty of prompt-based pixel generators (see our tool comparison) or a commissioned artist will serve you better. PixelForge only does one thing: it takes a real photo of a real person and returns that person, recognizably, as a game-ready walking sprite.

Using the sprites at your virtual table
Every frame in the pack is a clean transparent PNG, and virtual tabletops take PNG token art. The practical details:
- Which frame: use the front-facing neutral stance — it's the first frame of the down row (the pack's columns are literally ordered neutral / left-step / neutral / right-step, so it's easy to find).
- Sizing: VTT grids are bigger than the sprites — Roll20 works on 70px squares and Foundry defaults to 100px. Upscale the 96px frame with nearest-neighbor (no smoothing) to 2–3×, then let the VTT fit it to the grid; the pixels stay sharp instead of turning to mush.
- Round token frames: if your table uses circular tokens, run the PNG through any token-frame tool — the transparent background means no white-box halo.
- Recaps and the group chat: the looping walk GIFs (they're transparent too) are the real workhorse — session recap posts, "we're on tonight?" pings, initiative-order graphics in your campaign Notion.
The DM gift that actually lands
